Stop reading NOW if you don’t want to know what happened on Prison Break.
Did you stop? If not, you’ve been warned.
It only took 20 minutes to answer the “what was in the box” question, which was a shocking development. I expected a finger, or a hand, or a foot, but not the almighty “Se7en” angle. I had heard Sarah was returning to the show after her pregnancy, but maybe that was a cover story or something. I can’t believe she’s dead, and am still not entirely sure.
Otherwise, the show is starting to flow a bit better than early on. I really felt the anguish of Lincoln when he was so close to saving Sarah and his son but failed.
Heroes is plugging along at a steady, if slightly slow pace. I wish the twins would get the heck out of Mexico already. Three weeks of really nothing happening with them other than learning a bit more about their power. My favorite storyline has to be Peter, but probably because he’s the best thing on the show still. His powers and abilities are flat out awesome if you get into superheroes. There is really nothing he can’t do. I sort of chuckled at the Superman moment when Claire was flown up into the clouds by the new boyfriend.
What about Sylar’s return? What is going on with him? Where is he? And Kensai…Hiro is helping him, making him aware of who he is, but people out there speculating think he’s still alive in the present day. If he heals like that, he might be immortal in a way. Could he be the one killing people? Or the evil one of that little girl’s dreams? The actor who plays him was a pretty evil guy on Alias and he can play someone pretty sinister if he wants, so I can see that happening.
And Journeyman…it’s close to my favorite new show. I really like what they are doing, the bits of information we find out, the way they reveal things to the characters, like the watch at the end that gave away that Dan has seen Olivia. The plots have been pretty good, and keep me glued to the screen. Tonight we found out that Olivia has been doing this for a long time, before she met Dan, and then it stopped while they were together.
I’m going to assume it happened again when she was on the plane and that saved her life. Why do they keep meeting?
As invested as I am getting in the show, I hope the payoff or explanation is good.
Oh, on a side note, Smallville has been okay, the Supergirl aspect hasn’t been as horrible as I thought it might be. But the one question, the most frustrating of all questions remains:
When will he stinking FLY already???
So what did ya’ll think of these episodes?

Missed the first 30 mins of Prison Break (DVR issues), but thought this week was great. The show is really picking up steam and with Sarah dead(?) it could make the second half of the season even better.
Heroes is sloooowwwwwwlllllyyyy getting better. I’m already tired of the twins, they can stay in Mexico for all I care. The story with Peter I think is good and I like the Claire’s as well. The return of Sylar also looks good, but I’ve heard he’ll be leaving for a while mid-season to shoot the new Star Trek (hello, young Spock), so I’m not what they’ll do with that one.
I’m 2 weeks behind on Journeyman so I definitely need to get caught up on that one.
Show recap, as the Cap’n see’s it…
Never seen Prison break, ever never. And I’m a diehard 24 fan, and still never saw it waitng for 24 to come on…
Heroes: C- so far. Let me sum up.
Twins story = who cares
Nicki = we never cared and still dont
Hiro story = Used to be the best story line, now the worst, ok twins are the worse….you got me there.
cheerleader story – eh, she has a boyfriend, whoopie!!Peter story – Best story, though why did the tatoo morph on his arm to the bad symbol and then he absorbed it?!?! You catch that?
Journeyman – absolutely terrific, well done, intriguing, is she tracking him, what answers can she provide him, he’s busted with the watch in his jacket, i really like how they tie in what affect his interaction with his travels had on a person…really well done…
Smallville – always a good show. Good premiere episode, good follow up show as well, but i too am extremely leary of the supergirl inclusion, so far its irrelvent and extremely liberty with the license.
Bionic woman – gets one more shot from me on Wednesday night…..doesnt look to make the cut…
I think the tattoo disappeared because really it’s a scar right? Someone doing damage to your skin, and he heals…so it would heal it away.
No clue why it turned into that symbol first.
