Damages coming back for second season!
According to the Ausiello Report on TVGuide.com, Damages has been renewed for a 13-episode second season, the same number of episodes that will be shown this summer.
Ratings have been pretty low, barely 4.9 million viewers a week, and only 2.9 million watch the show LIVE (who does that?), but the show has been critically [...]
Pushing Daisies: Hit or miss?
We’ve now seen three episodes of this wonderful new show called Pushing Daisies.
What do I think so far? I think the more I watch it, the more I love it. Yet I kind of worry about how they can keep it going for a few seasons.
Will the novelty of the narrator and bringing people to [...]
Where oh where is the Battlestar Galactica Season 3 DVD?
A few of my readers watch Battlestar Galactica and the big question this summer has been “when will they release season 3 on dvd?”
The fourth and final season is tentatively supposed to begin around the same time as Lost and 24, so it would be nice for a few who missed last year to be [...]
Heroes, Kristen Bell and Journeyman
It’s sad when the previews for next week’s Heroes got Jina and I more excited than the actual episode did.
Of course you’ve heard me blab on about how Kristen Bell is joining the cast of Heroes, which is just awesome. She’ll be a great character I’m sure, and this genre is right up her alley. [...]
WGA/Producers strike could end our TV viewing this season
The Writers Guild of America has a contract expiring on November 1st and they are likely going on strike right after. Apparently there was a strike in 1988 which lasted five months, and another was averted back in 2001, but the WGA got “bent over” in that deal and they have vowed to not let [...]
Pride and Prejudice: Fanvids
Okay, I’ve gone a bit nuts on the blogs today, but I had to post this for Jina, Deb and Nicky and all the Jane Austen fans out there. It’s a Pride and Prejudice “preview” using scenes and people from Harry Potter.
I thought it was fantastically funny. Watch it after you click “read more.”
Andy tries to win Angela on The Office
The hour long episodes are a bit too long, but the last one was pretty dang good. There was a ton of great moments, but my favorite is up on YouTube and you have to watch it again, even if you saw it already.

AML Movie Review: “Michael Clayton”
Michael Clayton: (A+) IMDB : ROTTENTOMATOES
The new guy on Ebert and Roper, I forget his name but he hosts a movie show on HDNet, said it best: Michael Clayton is what every John Grisham movie should have been like.
The Firm was good of course, but Michael Clayton is so better than any legal thriller [...]
No ESPNews HD until March 2008
Depressing news for Mike and his addiction to ESPN.
EngadgetHD.com is reporting that while ESPN has deals and contracts in place with DTV, Comcast, etc., for ESPNews HD, nothing will go live until March of 2008.
Despite the bummer news, they do say that they will be instituting an innovative HD sideline graphic that will wrap around [...]
