Ugh.
Looks like it’s going to happen. The Writer’s Guild of America started sending out notices to all their members Friday that the strike will start Monday.
I was watching David Letterman last week and he mentioned the WGA strike and that if it happens, we’ll finally see what kind of writing talent he actually has. I hadn’t even fathomed that shows like his and Jay Leno’s, etc., would be affected like that. Of all the shows out there, the late night talk shows will be the first hurt, since their stuff is live and written daily.
Out friend Jason Clark over at Inner88 has more information on all this stuff and I’ll try to find out more news this week.
I just read on USA Today if the strike lasts long then Lost’s season will be shortened to 8 episodes!! This sucks big time, especially if you like late night or soaps. I will be really sad if Y&R goes into repeats, HELLO, Victoria is in a coma! I have to know what happens!!
