So you’re on a long road, hundreds of miles from anywhere, lost and alone.
You see a gas station up ahead and pull over to ask the attendant for directions. Funny though, before you spot him, you notice the gas pump has a computer display on it and you see the Google logo –>
Yup…soon enough, Google is going to be literally EVERYWHERE. In less than a year, gas pumps made by the company Gilbarco Veeder-Root will be connected to the internet and running Google Maps, so you can find that road you missed because you were to proud to listen to your girlfriend (I’m talking to you, Jason).
The pump interface will offer you links to local restaurants and spots of interest, and also allow you to find a destination from your current location just by putting in an address.
Gilbarco will start distributing the new pumps early next year with a total of 3500 initially.
The Google world domination plan is in full effect. Although honestly, this wasn’t even their idea and they aren’t making any money from it.
Yeah, no money, but their brand is now expanding to places off your computer screen. It’s only a matter of time before the entire world is in their grasp.
Is there anything Google can't do? Google for President!
