Official Cloverfield trailer posted on Apple.com

The pirated Cloverfield trailer that I posted a few days ago was taken down fairly quickly, but the official version is up and running on Apple.com, in all kinds of yummy, high-definition formats.

Update: There is a new, high quality YouTube version now attached to this blog post.

Check it out by going to the Cloverfield page on Apple and then let me know what you think of it.

I think the uniqueness of the movie (even if it’s kind of Blair Witch-ish) will just make it that much better. A monster movie seen through the eyes of the guy holding the camera…I love it.

    Yes, it does look like THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT meets an old fashioned monster flick, but I say Bravo! It’s been a while since we had a really solid monster movie, and this looks like a 21st century update on some old 50s golden age classics.
