I haven’t done a lot of research or even cared about the idea of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, because honestly, it sounds pretty lame when you first hear about it. It’s another sign that Hollywood is running out of ideas, especially when they take a movie and turn it into a TV show.
But holy crap. There were two things that I found out tonight that suddenly have me somewhat in eager anticipation for this series debut.
The first is that Summer Glau is in it. Only those die-hard Firefly fans will know who she is or those who saw Serenity. She’s best known as River, the girl with a stolen youth, an unfathomable intelligence and seriously awesome fighting moves. One of the best characters Joss Whedon ever created.
A new sci-fi show, with Glau as a Terminator, essentially playing the part of Arnold in Terminator 2…the good Terminator. Bionic Woman failed me this year as my guilty pleasure, Dark Angel-ish new favorite, so could this take its place?
If that wasn’t enough, I saw the newly released posters for the show…and they are fraking cool. Take a look and tell me you aren’t excited.

I’ve had some interest in this, never seen the posters though. I do know that Fox has put it on in place of 24 time slot, until the writer strike is resolved.
and btw… I still watch that trash show bionic woman… man is it ever dumb….
I heard it’s pretty much going to be canceled…Bionic that is.

I only need to say one word to sum up this show. Garbage!!!
Thoroughly enjoying the show, yes sometimes it's a bit slow. Sure its repetitive, send bad terminator, good terminator kill bad terminator repeat. But now it's starting to flow and some good character development is happening. I'd like to see this go for 3 seasons and then wrap it up.
We know Judgement Day happens unless they wish to change the plot of the movie. So perhaps the TV show could then run after judgement day.
