In just a few days Verizon will be launching some new phones, one of them the supposed rival to the iPhone: The Verizon Voyager.
So far we know it’s got a touch screen on the front and opens up like the Verizon EnV to sport a nice little QWERTY keyboard for quick texting.
Well, PC Magazine got the phone, messed with it and posted a video review to give you a good idea what to expect. It’s a decent review and shows everything you’d want to know.
There were two surprises from watching this video:
- It has a built-in Web Browser for the front touch screen area, much like the iPhone. I wasn’t sure it would have that ability.
- It has a little pop-out antenna to pick up TV networks and streamed shows. Not much help now during the strike, but it does seem kind of nifty.
If you have your New Every Two coming up soon, it might be a good idea to check out this new toy.

I talked to my friend who runs a cell phone store – he said that this phone is great – not only that – but it is in high demand. Unfortunately he told me that the supply is low to most retailers because of some delays on verizon’s end…
