Earlier this week I did a post about my top 10 favorite Christmas movies, including one that was more of a TV show than a movie, and I got some comments about the list and what everyone else would maybe do with it.
So now I want to know what your favorite Christmas movie is of all time. Do you watch it every year? Is it something you make sure the whole family sees? Is there a cool tradition surrounding it?
There are so many to choose from out there, so I’m hoping to see a great variety of films here, maybe some very unique ones.
Have at it then:
What’s your favorite Christmas movie?? And why?
If Mike can have 10, then I get to pick three. So here they are:
A Christmas Story
Love Actually
White Christmas
Ho… Ho… Ho…
We need to watch White Christmas this year for sure…been awhile since I’ve seen it through.
I’m torn between A Christmas Story and It’s a Wonderful Life as my favorite. I’m still in disbelief that you hadn’t watched A Christmas Story until 5 freakin’ years ago! How did you manage to do that?! [insert home-school joke here]
Maybe because…[home school joke here]…or my parents were lame and never saw it
There are many great ones, but It’s a wonderful life is the best hands down. Really drives home what’s important about Christmas and our lives in general.

My pick for my favorite traditional Christmas movie is “A Christmas Carol” (the one with George C. Scott).
For my non-traditional Christmas movie pick, I’d have to choose either “A Nightmare Before Christmas” or “Edward Scissorhands”. (Gotta love Tim Burton!)

Nice picks everyone
