Why the refusal to see The Di Vinci Code?

Honestly, I didn’t like how Dan Brown portrayed the book as being true, when it was completely made up, so I didn’t feel like supporting the movie version. Besides, I heard it was pretty bad and I find it hard to spend money on worthless movies :)

Now, if someone were to pay me to review EVERY movie, then I’d probably see those :)

Really want to see this movie too.

Read the Da Vinci Code…Dan Brown is a little nuts to suggest it is realistic stuff, but the story is a lot of fun.

Have not seen the movie yet though…one of many I own but have not seen.

The story is fun, but the middle gets bogged down with a few chapters of the explanation of it all, which is where I had issues with it.

There is no lying that the story itself was a good little plot, but the idea behind the way Brown made it appear factual is what bothered me afterwards.

People read it and believed it.

The movie is worth seeing, you should check it out. Let the other stuff go. ;-)

I wont watch it and I wont let that stuff go :)

Also, the 25% on Rotten Tomatoes kind of makes me think it’s not worth seeing :)

I finally saw this movie this weekend on DVD. I thought it was okay, but I don’t see how it was considered a comedy. Overall, I thought it was pretty forgettable even with the great cast.

Well, Hoffman was pretty hilarious, so that’s why it was considering a comedy I think…

Pretty forgettable to me as well…I enjoyed it, but didn’t care that I saw it right after.
