    Ok – her first song was not that great. Actually I disliked it so much that I almost did not listen to her second song you posted. The second song was by far much better – very, very impressive.

    Landon reminds me a little bit of Howie Day and a little bit of myself. It looks like he is self-taught on guitar as well by the way he plays some of his chords – I know because most self-taught guitarists play certain chords in a particular way that tends to drive music teachers insane. :)

    He has a decent voice – Kina’s is much stronger and she does a great job on her second video. Landon is very relaxed.

    I think they both did well – but I’m not sure if both are good enough for the contest. If it were me – I would vote for Kina with her voice winning out – Landon’s guitar playing is much better than hers.

    Yeah, the first one is just a goof anyways, not a real song…probably should have made that a bit more clear :)

    But I agree with your analysis of them…kind of the same feeling I have.
