The next time you login to your Gmail account, you’ll find your tagging system all new looking and coolified.
Google has given you the ability to add a background color to the tags you apply to incoming emails. By default they are all set to gray and ready for you to go wild. The sad thing is, I have so many tags there aren’t enough colors for them all.
But you can probably get around that by using the same colors for tags that could be grouped together, like blog comments from multiple blogs, or other similar categories.
I like it, makes things pop a bit more and allows for easier viewing of those important tags that you care about.
Another update they did, to Google Reader this time, is to give you the ability to drag your feeds around into categories, instead of the old fashioned way of using the drop-down menu and applying it to a tag.
Now you just click on the feed and drag it to wherever you want.
Gmail and Reader are two of the best at what they do out there and they certainly got a bit better today.

This is why I love Google. Both of these are AWESOME!

Haven’t had the chance to have a look at the reader yet today, but just finished setting up the colours for my labels in Gmail. Very cool feature.
