If the writers strike doesn’t end soon, this may be the best thing available. I’d like to know how it ended as I thought the show was really good.

  2. Cap'n Schwartz

I think this solidifies what Ape was saying earlier about boxing a 13 episode show and calling it a season for everyone to buy. This is about the same price as other regular seasons at $35.99, and its only 13 episodes!?!?!

  3. Mike

Well, BSG Season 3 is around $59 SRP for 24 episodes, so this is comparable I think. The SRP for this is only $39.

  4. Cap'n Schwartz

so then look for shortened seasons this year and boxed up in a set all for the full price? Lame!

You can blame this on NBC if you want… but it was really on ABC. :)

Man, first Mary Tyler Moore, and now this…I really need a secretary to proofread this stuff.

  7. The Trousered Ape

Never heard of this show…you know when studios start releasing obscure shows to dvd they must be reaching for straws. And then, as the Cap’n pointed out – they are charging $36 for 13 episodes?

    1. How can they justify it, and 2. if it was bad enough to cancel part way through the first season, why spend the $ to put it on dvd?

I’ll never understand how television studios operate.

  8. The Trousered Ape

@ Mike – at least The Mary Tyler Moore show had funny writing and good acting.

  9. David

That’s $10-20 less than FX shows (which are also 13 episodes). Plus that’s the MSRP, it’ll never be that on the shelves.
