Here a few interesting links I found this week that should hopefully give you some reading to do while you sip your Sunday coffee.
- Huge HD-DVD/Blu-Ray sale at Amazon.com
Amazon.com right now is having a huge sale on high-def dvds. You can get HD-DVDs at between 44% and 57% off and Blu-Ray disks at 50% off. - Jay Leno beats David Letterman in ratings
Even with no writers and subpar comedic ability, Jay Leno still beat out David Letterman in ratings since they returned to late night. This bothers me to no end. - Behind the scenes at The Oscars
Ever want to know how Oscars are nominated and then handed out? This link has everything you want to know. - Gmail adds group mail function – yeah, we know
Mashable wrote a big post this week about how Gmail just added group email tools, which is a feature that has been around for like two years. Wonder how they goofed that up, but either way, the comments have been pretty funny. - Kyle Chandler rocks
Entertainment Weekly’s recap of Friday Night Lights was great and made excellent points about how overlooked this show is, especially the acting done by Kyle Chandler. - NBC loses Golden Globe rights
This could be an interesting Sunday night, where NO ONE may broadcast even the little “awards news” show that NBC was going to do. The Movie Blog reports on it, saying that NBC lost their rights to the show after poor handling.
Enjoy your Sunday, go Colts!
