Good point Jason, I can barely watch anything that’s not previously recorded on Tivo, or at least 20 minutes behind.

But American Idol has to be seen on DVR, especially these 2-hour couch-fests.

Tivo is the BEST way to watch the commercialFULL "American Idol." Man, you can watch a two hour show in about 45 minutes. It rocks. Over the course of the season you'll save hours, maybe days, of your time with Tivo if you watch American Idol. I counted the use of the word “hot” three times in that comment of yours…

She was pretty for sure and her voice was awesome. Anytime someone can sing Amazing Grace like that, you know they’re good.

I expect to see her in the Top 12 at this point, but we have a long ways to go.

First of all, Sharon, I don’t think those girls were “special needs.” Like Mike said, if they were then it is totally the fault of their families for bringing them to endure the humiliation of a Simon Beat Down (SBD). Secondly, Sanjaya might have been made fun of, by the people watching the show, but the judges put him into the finals. He wasn’t kicked off the show or put into the spotlight for ridicule…the ridicule came after he made a fool of himself night after night.

Now, back to the show. I thought it was about what I would have expected. The deep voice dude was something else. It made me sad, though, that he clearly didn’t understand why they didn’t think he was good. I hate it when people behave like punks for being turned down but it always makes me feel a little bad when they honestly think they’re good and they are so far from it.

Kristy Lee Cook was fantastic. And HOT! I say that in the hopes my wife doesn’t read this…then again, she knows. Women know when other women are hot. Kristy Lee Cook is hot. She’s pretty, sings like an angel, and was polite…what’s not to like. She should go far.

Sorry…while Simon CAN go over the edge, these people have seen the show and know what they are getting into. I mean, Princess Leia had her GRANDPARENTS there with her…if they all had mental issues, than okay, but they’ve seen the show, they know what it’s about.

And I don’t think she was special needs really, just unique in the way she was.

Afyer being an avid fan for all of the seasons, I found last night disgusting in how it made fun basically of two girls who clearly were what would be called ” special needs”, Whereas Americas Next Top Model was hailed for Hilary who had Asbergers getting to the semi-finals– American Idol can now be the show that not only pokes fun at ethnics ( william hung, and sanjaya,) but grown up kids with special needs. Clearly both Alexis Cohen and Princess Leah were suffering from either aspergers, pr some other form of special learning needs. Check out their education history and I am sure they had an IEP.

Great and politically correct to make fun of them. Way to go Simon— yep in England they still make fun of retards, right? I mean after all us stupid americans are the only ones who dont practice “shadenfreude” ( the German word for taking pleasure in another’s misery.)

I hope you enjoy the Sat nite live skits of the three judges as retards…mental morons, village idiots– what have you.
