I too was blown away. I LOVED the ending. I think I walked to the car with my wife after the movie without saying a word. She didn't like the ending at first but once I described to her why I thought it was so fantastic I think she came around. It's probably not for everyone. This movie is probably the reason I've hesitated to see the other Best Picture nominees (Juno excluded) for so long. I don't know how they can stand up. This is my favorite movie from last year and an instant classic. I loved the ending, but not right away. I didn't dislike it at first, I just needed some time to think about it. I love movies that stay with you. I still find myself thinking about and analyzing this movie two months after I saw it.
