Well, it looks like we can blame all this on Paula Abdul being drunk.
My blog post early this morning about Paula Abdul and her American Idol drunken hiccup episode got me linked to on USA Today’s Entertainment blog.
This resulted in a lot of traffic (which I am totally grateful for) and it started to bog down the shared server my site is located at.
Then of course, if you search on Google for “paula abdul drunk hiccup” I was coming up #1 and then #2 most of the day, which resulted in a lot of hits from there as well.
All this means that my site got more traffic than the server could handle and it got us shut down for a big part of Wednesday.
So we’re moving servers tonight to my buddy Adrian’s hosting location which should hopefully get rid of all these problems with the site going down every day.
Thanks for your patience in all of this, I have been extremely frustrated with it all and can’t wait to move on out of here.
This is the last story being posted on the old server, so when you come here and see something new, then you know you’ve arrived at our new home!
Awww. Poor Paula!
I really love her. She’s cute and sweet. I do feel bad for her, though…you can tell she is hurting inside and that’s what makes her do crazy stuff like drink or party a little much.
