In case you don’t know, Disney is making their own non-Pixar computer animated film called “Bolt” (originally known as American Dog).
The photo below is really the first look we’ve had of it so no one has really known what to expect. I’ve seen a hi-res image and the details actually look pretty good.
“Bolt” is about a German Shepherd dog who has lived his whole life on the set of his action TV show on which, of course, he has superpowers. He doesn’t know that the superpowers aren’t real. When separated from the studio by accident, he meets Mr. Mittens (actually a female cat) and a hamster named Rhino. His journey to get back to the studio becomes a journey of a lifetime…

The film features the voice talents of John Travolta, Thomas Haden Church, Woody Harrelson, Mario Cantone, Bruce Greenwood, and Susie Essman.
“Bolt” hits theaters on November 26th 2008. The film will be released in Digital Disney 3-D on 1,200 to 1,500 screens domestically.
I like cartoon…I can’t wait to see this film. Almost all of Disney cartoon are nice story. Thank you for the info.
I went and saw the preview of this movie on November 15 and thought that this was a prime example of pixar’s movie making style. Fun characters and constant laughter from the antics of Rhino the hamster keeps everyone entertained through the whole movie.
Out of five stars this movie has four on my rating. The story is fresh but the whole plot of the movie doesn’t really have enough to really suck an older audience into the film. Yet it isn’t lacking enough to merit not seeing the movie with the family.
