AOL Moviefone released the first production photo from the new Star Trek movie Thursday and while it’s nothing to flip out over, it’s so awesome to see the USS Enterprise again.
From what I’ve heard, and I will post a bit later, the first teaser for this film will show the Enterprise under construction, with workers all over the saucer section, plus shots of the giant warp engines in the background.
And if you hadn’t heard, the teaser will be shown on Cloverfield this weekend, so it’s yet another reason to rush out to see it.

I’m not a big Star Trek fan, but I’m actually looking forward to this flick. Should be fun.

Star trek fans across the planet, want a St movie, but they are pretty tired of sequels. A star fleet academy movie has long beena hot debate. If this can stand on its own merits and be good, then it will be imbraced, apprently though, this is also somewhat a re-envisioning of the ST universe (I think Jason wrote about it on his blog… I think it was Jason…?!?!?), and loyal fans don’t take lightly to re-envisionings…
I take it this will be the first constitution class Enterprise (the one in Enterprise series wasn’t).
I’m hoping for a good movie. Somehow, though, I kind of doubt it.

I hadnt heard any class changes or descriptions, but more of a ship redesign, which should be a combo of the old Star Trek heavy cruiser from TOS + the Constituion class from the Movie.
