First someone created a Pen-Top Utensil set and now this. Surely everything is beginning to fall into place.
People.com is reporting that the original boy band that we all loved and/or loved to hate, New Kids On The Block, is preparing to stage a comeback. That’s right, Jonathan, Jordan, Joey, Donny, and Danny have reignited the once dormant band’s web site www.nkotb.com in preparation for the official anoucement which could come in a matter of weeks.
In case you’re wondering, it’s been eighteen years since the New Kids On The Block burst onto the music scene. The boy band, which made legions of tweens swoon in the early ’90s, selling more than 50 million albums, became a worldwide phenomenon before calling it quits in 1994.
The various members of New Kids (as fans once called them) have had varied careers since breaking up the band. The oldest New Kid, Jonathan Knight, who will turn 40 later this year, is now a real estate developer. Donnie Wahlber, 38 (brother to actor Mark Wahlberg) and Joey McIntyre, 35, have seen sporadic success in acting. Danny Wood, 38, has worked mostly as a music producer. Jonathan’s brother, Jordan Knight, 37, has continued to record.
Wow 18 years have been passed…I remember I was just a little girl when their album was booming and now they’ll back again. Hope they will success just as they did, even more! Anyway, are they still kids now :)?

You know, though, it’s been so long since they were together, if they come back out they actually will be the “new kids on the block” for most of the audience…
Old kids on the block? or how about “Bands that should be on the chopping block?”
Now Cap’n, you know they got it (”The Right Stuff”). You have to respect them for “Hangin’ Tough.” They’re just taking it “Step By Step.” “Call It What You Want” but I, for one, respect them for saying “Let’s Try It Again.” Be honest, “Didn’t I Blow Your Mind” with this news “Tonight?”

LOL - Well, I can’t say that I’m a fan really, but I did have a sister and a cousin who loved them…and I heard my share of New Kids. I had to look up their album to get the actual names of the songs, though…I’m not that good…except This One’s For the Children…I remember that song.
