Pre-order “Day Break” on DVD from Amazon

Day Break - The Complete SeriesIf you never got a chance to see the first six episodes of Day Break on ABC… or if you did but didn’t know or didn’t get a chance to check out the other seven episodes on the ABC website… or it’s been so long you’ve forgotten if you’ve seen all thirteen episodes… or if you loved the show so much you’d like to own it… you’re in luck…because you can now pre-order the DVD set for Day Break from Amazon.com as of today.

I have to tell you, I’m excited about Day Break finally hitting DVD. I watched the first six episodes and loved the show last year and was absolutely ticked off when ABC pulled the plug even though the whole series was only supposed to be thirteen episodes to begin with. They eventually put the other episodes on their website but I never got a chance to watch them all. I’m sure most people never even knew they were there.

If you aren’t familiar with Day Break, it starred Taye Diggs as Detective Brett Hopper, who is framed for the murder of Assistant District Attorney Alberto Garza. Due to some kind of time loop (the origin of which I didn’t determine in the first six episodes) Hopper lives the same day over and over again. The series revolves around his attempt to solve the mystery of the murder and find out who is behind the conspiracy to frame him before he gets killed or falls asleep and wakes up starting the day over again. Moon Bloodgood from Journeyman was the leading lady of the show and Mitch Pileggi had a starring role.

The DVD is set for release on March 11, 2008 and is currently selling for $35.99 which seems like a pretty good deal. A really good thing to remember about doing a pre-order of Day Break from Amazon.com is that it has the Pre-order Price Guarantee which means that if the Amazon.com price decreases between your order time and release date, you’ll receive the lowest price.

So if you want to reserve your copy now, just go pre-order Day Break - The Complete Series over on Amazon.com right now.

  2. I know what you mean. Jericho got all the press for leaving an audience hanging but Day Break did it first and much worse. I don’t know how it ends but I think it’s worth $36 for sure.

  3. That was a great show.

I had to go online to be able to watch it. Canadians had the TV signal(6 episodes) but did not have access to ABC site :(
