At this point in time, with what I know about the movie Jumper, I am probably not going to care what I hear in regards to reviews and whatnot. The film just looks exciting and fun and therefore I must see it.
ComingSoon.net posted SIX new Jumper clips or trailers or previews or whatever the heck you want to call them. But there are 6 and they last around 30 seconds to a minute. They certainly catch your eye, especially if you have a fondness for special effects and cool powers.
In fact, I’ve come to a decision. It may be not be earth-shattering to you, but it kind of is to me. Whenever people would ask that age-old question, “If you were a superhero, what power would you want the most?”, I’d always answer “I want to fly.”
Because truthfully, that pretty much gives you the most freedom. Invisibility is cool, but other than spying on people and stealing, blah, not for me. Super strength is always great, but not as liberating as flight.
But now…with what I’ve seen of this movie Jumper, I think my answer has changed. Screw flying, I want to JUMP man!
I think the picture to the right says it all.
Alright, enough about my totally unfounded and useless desires…here are the clips below, which I thought were pretty great.
I really like the battle between Samuel L. Jackson and Hayden Christensen in Clip #2.
Also, if I haven’t noted it already, Rachel Bilson being in this movie really, REALLY doesn’t hurt.
The movie is out on February 14th…maybe my wife would like to go for Valentine’s Day?

I’ve seen a couple of trailers for this movie – looks promising.
The trailers do look pretty exciting and fun, but Hayden Christenson is Paul Walker, Part Deux. It’s extremely hard to get excited about any movie he’s in. The last time that happened, guess what? Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. Blech.
@Mo LOL
PAUL WALKER RAW-KS!… I’m hopin Hayden pulls out a lightsaber and chops off ole Mace Windu’s arm again and say “Ah-Ha!! Got you again!!!”
Paul Walker rocks the counter at the Starbucks on Ventura and Laurel Canyon.
He rocks the counter probably becuase there is a hot chick underneath him….
Zing!
Just saw the DVD. I wrote a review and screen shots, just click my name. Good movie, but not great. The studios are thinking possible sequel depending on the overall success after the DVD release.
