I’d lump The Sarah Connor Chronicles in here too, but I don’t FOX actually made any promises about that show like they did for Prison Break and American Idol.
So it’s been bad enough that Michael Scofield’s stay in SONA has been so long and boring that we’ve pretty much forgotten WHY he’s there in the first place, not to mention all his buddies.
Every week the eventual escape is an inch away, yet feels like miles.
With that being said, Prison Break fans probably rejoiced when all the previews and marketing for the show the last week kept saying over and over “They escape is finally here!”
They lied. FOX lied. To me!
When the episode ended, Scofield and company still sat inside the tunnel they dug out to the middle of the yard. And they are still sitting there until this Monday night I assume.
Maybe I’m being harsh and maybe it doesn’t matter, but when you say something is going to happen and it doesn’t…what do you call it?
And I likely wouldn’t have gotten all annoyed if American Idol hadn’t followed suit right after!
The entire last week has been one big promotion for Hollywood Week. We saw clips of auditions in Hollywood, of Simon commenting, etc.
But when Tuesday night’s episode aired, it was for ANOTHER audition city, this time Atlanta.
And tonight’s episode looks like some kind of collection of the worst of the worst, or just some sort of highlight show.
What gives with all the false advertising? Is this even something new? I’m sure it’s happened many times before, but for some reason it bugs me now.
Maybe it’s because I am ready for Hollywood Week to start, or maybe the thought of Lincoln and Michael talking at the chain link fence ONE MORE TIME makes me want to totally wipe out both season passes.
What do you think? Lies? False advertising? Nothing new?
Where is Hollywood week!?! I need Hollywood week!
Dude, this is why Prison Break got cut from my list last year. They’re never getting out! If they do there won’t be a show.
And Idol just lied to us. I was excited about Hollywood week as well. I asked my wife where Hollywood week went. We both thought it started last night. I don’t want to see the crappy singers anymore. They’re stupid! They sing bad! WE KNOW! It’s been seven years! We’re ready for the good ones now.

We’re not even watching Idol this time around. The contestants, good and bad, are forgettable. Paula being drunk/stoned, Simon being an a-hole and Randy being the cool black dude have gotten stale. Ugh. They jumped the shark last season with Sanjana(?)’s hair.
Prison Break, we never got into that.
