If I haven’t said it before (and I know I have, but I never grow tired of it), Firefly was one of the best series to only make it nine episodes that I’ve ever seen.
I’ve always silently held a grudge against FOX for this total lack of forward thinking in canceling the series early, but the fact remains that we have nine awesome episodes and a movie out of it regardless. And perhaps a sequel to Serenity sometime soon since Wash thinks it’s possible?
A science fiction story, with a touch of the old west, thieves, outlaws and a mysterious girl holding unknown secrets, Firefly was created by Joss Whedon and is adored by fans all over the planet.
The great news for those new to the series is that Target is carrying the Firefly: Complete Series this week for the great price of $17.99, a deal from their normal $24.99 tag.
It’s only in the stores I guess, so rush on out and pick it up!

Funny how this opinion comes from someone who WON’T be in the sequel, since he died in Serenity. Hmmm.
