I don’t know an awful lot about The Foot Fist Way (official site). The movie was actually made in 2006 and has apparently been floating around for quite a while. I found a Variety review of it from June of that year. Right now it looks like Paramount Vantage has picked it up and is planning to distribute it starting April 11. I’ve heard the character of “Fred Simmonsâ€Â? has made some appearances on talk shows such as Conan, but I haven’t seen it for myself. At any rate, this looks really funny.

By the way, the title is the English translation of Tae Kwan Do (in case you wanted to know).
I started to watch this yesterday and the first scene looked like something from a porn film, so I had no idea what kind of movie it was going to be like

I saw the trailer on a friend’s blog about 15 minutes ago and…well, I’m going to quote myself here.
“Excited” doesn’t even begin to describe the rare mix of euphoria and, dare I say, horniness this trailer gives me! Seriously funny.
That’s right. I said it. This movie looks like absolute genius. Especially as the lead appears to be doing a Farva impersonation!

This trailer looks pretty funny…but so did the trailer for SuperTroopers…and the only thing funny about THAT movie was the quote, “We already pulled over! We can’t pull over any farther!”
That line is a classic!
But the movie sucked.
