Did you say a “slight western feel to it”?

’twas no slight to it; it was written as a western in space, man! ;)

Yeah, but I don’t want to scare people off! :)

I know…it did have a pretty good western feel to it…but some people see that and don’t get how cool it is because of it.

I ended up watching Serenity the movie and then saw the DVD set of Firefly and bought it based on seeing the movie, therefore watching the story unfold backwards in the time line. I totally fell in love with the TV show Firefly and I think it might be one of the best shows ever. I could not believe that it was canceled, but later learned that it was due to Fox changing the time of the show, making it impossible to follow, so no one knew when to watch. They also did not air the episodes in order, infact showed the second episode first and all this led to much confusion to the viewers, therefore the ratings were not good and it got canceled. It is just tragic to me that such a great show got canceled due to scheduling conflicts. I am very excited to learn about these comics and I am going order myself a set. I sometimes find myself wishing for a Serienty 2, or trying to think of what might have happened next to the crew. I also wondered about the missing time between the Firefly and Serenity. I am glad they actually did write the missing parts of the story out, even if it is in comic book form.

Raven, I just received the first Serenity comic in the mail, so I’ll be reading it soon and writing a review about it.

Glad you’re a fan, it’s a fantastic universe created by Joss Whedon.
