Love the Milkshakes clip. The others aren’t too shabby either.

I got in on the Hulu beta since November. It’s pretty neat and the videos are of great quality for Internet videos. Hopefully opening the door to the “great unwashed” won’t gum up the works.

Which clips can and can’t be embedded depend on the licensing arrangements from what I understand. During the beta they didn’t have an embeds per day limit that I ran into although they may have one now that they’re public. That would suck.

Anyway, make sure you catch those Adam-12, Emergency and SWAT reruns from the 70′s!

Hulu’s a great idea, but it’s making my job very difficult.

So did I Frank – it’s been great watching some of the video’s they had up. I’m glad they finally went live with these for everyone else. What a cool and fun site.

I wish I’d have signed up for it too, but I think I read a long time ago that it had all kinds of problems after it first came out, and I didn’t hear much after that until now.

@ Michael – why is it making your job difficult?

Well, not sure if you remember where I work, but Hulu might run into legal issues because they don’t update their RSS feeds all the time. So if an episode is supposed to be removed from a network site because they legally aren’t supposed to show it, Hulu will not update at the same time, so they will be showing the episode when they shouldn’t. I’m stuck in this black hole and having to figure out new ways to compensate.

  7. Mike

That doesn’t make any sense Michael, because their feeds don’t have video in them, they just link to things and if they are taken down, then they are gone.

I know where you work, just not sure how Hulu showing videos affects your compensation?

I don’t ever get anything but “video is no longer available” on these. Hulu seems like a nice theory, but it doesn’t appear to me that it actually works.

Weird, I have not had any issues with it. What browser are you using?

I’m not a huge fan of the ads, but I think it’s probably the best way they’ll find to actually make any money off embedded video…and it’s not that big of a bother really.

The quality is absolutely fantastic! Wish I could make money off these, I’d embed them everywhere.

Watched two episodes of It’s Always Sunny and a bunch of clips from In Living Color – what a riot.
