Yeah, I read the article back when you mentioned it. I sorta bought into it then, and I’m buying into it more now. One correction, though, the polar bear remains were found in Tunisia, in northern Africa.

Thanks Adrian, thanks for that clarification…late night writing side-effects :)

I’ve been trying to get my wife to read that article for a while because I’m incapable of explaining all of it myself. I don’t even know if I firmly grasp the theory. I think it’s a great theory for how this might all be happening. The only problem is the complexity. How could they get the average television viewer to understand all of that? If they can’t explain it people will be pissed off.

Next thing you know LOST writers will implement portkeys and floo powder a la Harry Potter.

i really like the mirror matter theory. my main question about it though is this: do people from our universe (ie. the losties) get converted into mirror matter counterparts of themselves when going to the island? The reason I ask this is because a moon made of mirror matter orbiting our earth’s gravitational center passes through the earth at certain points according to this theory. wouldn’t the losties crash into the earth and stay there if they are still made of the same sub-atomic particles as the earth?
