Calm down you crazy 24 fans who have been going nuts without Jack Bauer this year. There is something out there to hopefully tide you over a bit until the 24 Movie debuts this fall.
From the crew and stunt teams on the hit Fox series comes a series of online episodes, or webisodes, based on the world of 24.
The series is called The Rookie: Day 3 and follows CTU agent Jason Blaine as a greenhorn down in Mexico dealing with druggies and Ramon Salazar.
Head to http://www.degreerookie.com to watch the first installment in a big, wide-screen format, or you can just check it out below in a much smaller version.
Also available on the website is the pilot episode of the 24 series when Jack was essentially a rookie. But let’s face it…Jack’s never been a rookie…he’s always kicked ass.
I’m just not “Sure” if I can get into an internet series sponsored by a deodorant.
At least you know it wont stink.
LOL
Ok you '24 fanaticos' (Spanish for Fanatic)
Yes 24 is great and Jack Bauer is well… only like Jack Bauer can be.
But I need to clear something up that you said, “Jason Blaine as a greenhorn down in Mexico dealing with druggies…”
Most Americans have this mistaken belief that Mexico is all about dealing with druggies and killings. That does happen here.
But this is no different than someone from another country watching 'The Godfather' movie and assuming that that is the way all Americans live.
Eight short years ago, when the dotcom bubble was bursting in and around us in Silicon Valley, California, my wife and I decided to do something different. We packed up and moved to Mexico.

Hey, no offense, but as long as the news is still full of reports of them kidnapping and beheading white people like me…I'm staying right here in the US.
