I think if they tweak the movie name a bit to Grand Torismo, we could have a movie where we watch Clint play a video game…

We could leave the plot the same with one minor adjustment:

“…striking up a friendship with the family’s teenaged son Tao over the boy’s love for the video game Grand Torismo and Walt’s love for smashing things.”

    Hilarious :)

Yeah Jason, now THATS sales pitch for a movie I like that idea!!! =D

Let me type it up and send it to them. It’s gotta be better than the Street Fighter remake…or the original for that matter.

“an Oscar type drama is exactly what you would expect from him.”

I’d be disappointed for precisely that reason. A final Dirty Harry movie is just about the last thing you’d expect him to do- and that’s pretty much the way he’s operated his entire career.

It would also be a LOT harder to pull off such a movie in a convincing manner- whereas he could probably do the “Oscar type drama” in his sleep at this point.

After five prestige films in a row, I secretly hope he has one last trick up his sleeve for us.

If Eastwood is going to pull a trick out of his sleeve I hope it’s a big one – huge. I hope he’s in Bulgaria directing the next Rambo!

[...] Eastwood will make this his next project after he finishes Gran Torino (you know, the project that’s not a Dirty Harry film). [...]
