The wife forwarded me this little tidbit she found on Monday, which has some crazy screenshots of the hospital bed next to Michael early in the episode, Meet Kevin Johnson.
Alvar Hanso is the founder of the Hanso Foundation and appears in 1975 orientation videos for the DHARMA Initiative.
If you look closely at the two pictures, people are speculating that perhaps it’s Alvar Hanson laying in the bed next to Michael.
Could it be? And if so, is it that important?
Either way, I knew you guys would want to see it and come to your own conclusions.

Well, it does look like him. If it is him there’s no way it’s just a meaningless coincidence. They want it to mean something.
That makes sense because Smokey was Nurse Libby there at Dharma General. Maybe Alvar isn’t allowed to die either.
