Now, Mike, I didn't say she dressed like a clown...even if that red blouse she wore a week or two was a little "clown" like.

I think Carly sings certain things very well. When she tries to hit some specific notes, however, I think her voice goes into some kind of tone that disagrees with me or something. I just don't care for it.

And I don't care for the way she looks. I've said all along that she should cover up her tattoos and speak as little as possible if she wants to win. I'm not trying to be mean. I'm just stating what I think would help her get votes.

being a star means dressing good too, you have to have the entire package.

You can't walk out, dress like a clown, but sing awesome and expect people to respect you.

Jason, you put Carly way too low on the list, buddy. She was incredible last night. And c'mon, about the wardrobe. I'm the first one to acknowledge she does need to talk to whoever is dressing her but this isn't about clothes. Just close your eyes and listen to her. In-cred-i-ble. She has been very open to all of the critiques she has received. Look at what they told her a week ago (too serious, too uptight.) She listened and lightened it up and tried to work on not scowling while singing. She actually smiled several times which really did help her overall presence. I am confident she will take Simon's advice from this performance and will talk to her dresser. She wants to win and she's smart enough to take to heart all the advice the judges are giving her. Even advice about her wardrobe.

Now that I was finally able to publish my post, I do have Michael Johns as the top performer last week. But between Michael, David C and David A - I wouldn't have an issue with whatever order they were put in.

And I am so excited that David C cut his hair. Rock on!

For me, Kristi Lee and Ramiele seem out of their league compared to the rest of the group. Hopefully, they will find their way to the bottom three this week.

@Cap'n - Um...yes, yes I do.

@Rob O. - I think I liked Syesha's performance because she did change the song and tailor it to fit her voice. I think we should keep in mind that this girl was pretty young when Whitney's version came out. I thought she did a really good job making it her own.

Her vocals were pretty good, but "I Will Always Love You" was too big a song for Syesha Mercado. You can't pull of a Whitney Houston song and not go big. Syesha pulled back in a couple of keys parts of the song and it sounded weak.

Carly's vocal performance was incredible. She does need some help, but if I can get past "Bean" and his horrid hair, you can get over Carly's lacking wardrobe choices.

Was very impressed with how well "Bean" & Michael handled being saddled with Dolly songs. They made lemonade, for sure.
