Yeah I can hear Mr. Heston now if Ape comments here… “Get your hands off me you damn dirty Ape!!!” He also had the first I am Legend movie with the Omega Man, and how could you forget Soylent Green….RIP Chuck, we’ll miss ya!

Amazing actor back in the day, but turned into a gun-toting nut job in the 90s. It’s a shame that Alzheimer’s got a hold of him in the 2000s. And an even bigger shame was his (edited) appearance in Bowling for Columbine.

Yeah, I enjoyed a lot of his work, especially Planet of the Apes and Soylent Green (which I recently saw for the first time). Favorite had to be The Ten Commandments which I watched several times as a kid.

My Father died of Alzheimer’s Disease just a few years ago. He was a strong man and could out work me at age 65 and I was 40. I worry about Alzheimer’s every time I forget something I really should have remembered. I hope they find a cure soon.
