The Ultimate Bad Ass competition continues today, this time with the Chuck Norris Bracket. It’s actually a pretty spectacular and powerful grouping and the one who ends up making to the final four will have had to kick some major butt.

Chuck Norris helped start this whole thing, along with Jack Bauer, and now he squares off against Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible. I have a feeling for Hunt, that this mission to beat Norris may actually BE impossible.

Whoever voted for Han Solo was insane. He was a lover / smuggler, not a fighter. Mad Max was a fighter, but just didn’t want to get involved. (Ok, after the first movie.

Hey, it is what it is.
I voted for Max. I had to do a little quick mental calculation first, though. We know they’ll both shoot first, so we need to figure out who’s got the quicker trigger finger. I gave the advantage to Max because I figured Han would be sauced.

Seriously, like Mad Max is going to sit down and get all blabby with someone he’s going to kill. He has virtually no dialog in all 3 films! He sure as heck isn’t going to telegraph his intentions like that idiot n00b Greedo.
At any rate, Han Solo had the walking carpet to take care of his fights. Mad Max loses to Chewbacca, but beats Han Solo 8 times out of 10. I may make up statistics, but they’re right 100% of the time.

Mad Max / Han Solo, I think the lack of nutrients Max gets from the dog food he eats wears off, and Han comes out the victor, after all, once he wins I can see him saying.. “Hey, it’s me!”
I dont see Maximus beating Bourne (mainly cause he’s dead already), but I think Jason drops Mr. Maximus before he even gets on the playing field.
Rambo vs Tony… pretty much I see Rambo strangling Tony with a spaghetti noodle….

Maximus might put on a good show against Bourne but no way does Han Solo take out Mad Max. They don’t call him “Mad” for nothing. The guys a killer. He’ll kill you. Han Solo would run away and complain and then yell at Chewy. Chewy’s a bigger Bad Ass than Han Solo. Don’t get me wrong, I like Han Solo, but he’s not a bad ass. Mad Max went beyond Thunderdome. Not everyone can do that. Mad Max has got to take Han Solo.
@Jason, lol… I counter with, Look, Han shot Darth Vader… not many people do that and live to talk about it… if Max woulda done that he would have been the dog food he eats!!
Honestly, I’m just looking forward to Bourne vs. Chuck…because I don’t care who you are, there is only one person that can win that matchup.
That’s entirely a function of the deal Darth Vader made with Boba Fett. If there was a bounty out for Mad Max, I see no reason why it would be any different. Remember, Vader was interested in Luke and not the bait at all.
Dang it, Han was frozen in carbonite for months and months, then gets out of it, shakes off some blindness and helps blow away Jabba.
Plus, isn’t hooking up with Princess Leia something pretty awesome?
Han may not be the biggest badass, but he’s got cool to spare..and hooking up with a bikini clad Leia gets mad props.
