Here is the movie trailer for Hancock (official site) that Columbia Pictures provided during American Idol last night that gives a much more in depth look at Will Smith’s not quite so ordinary super hero. Hancock is about a hard-living superhero who has fallen out of favor with the public enters into a questionable relationship with the wife of the public relations professional who’s trying to repair his image.
Hancock hits theaters on July 2, 2008.
I saw this new trailer last night, looks a ton better than what was first released….a carefree superhero who causes more damage than he helps.. cool premise…

It’s an interesting take on superheros. I like it. “I can smell the alcohol on your breath. That’s because I’ve been drinking!”

I was already interested; this just makes me want to see it even more. They cut a bit of the comedy from this trailer and pushed the action aspect. Hopefully they hit the balance just right.
