A brand new poster for The Dark Knight has been released and it is awesome. The Dark Knight is, of course, Christopher Nolan’s sequel to Batman Begins and was Heath Ledger’s next to last film role.

Yeah, tagline is awesome for sure, reminded me a bit of the one from Serenity and Mal:
“I’m going to show you a world without sin.”
Similar? Maybe not, but it reminded me of Mal’s line.
Love the poster, it’s awesome…only part I was unsure about was the smoke from the buildings…almost reminded me of a 9/11 image for a bit. I have no problem with it, but surprised they made it look like that somewhat.

I don’t know what it is about this movie… but every time I see something about it I get more excited. It probably doesn’t hurt that Christian Bale is a great Batman!
I’m with Jina, except Christian Bale doesn’t effect me the same way. Now Maggie Gyllenhaal, that’s another story.

I had the same first impression that Mike had. I thought of 9/11 too. Then the thought of Batman crashing his Bat plane into the side of a building because he’d had one too many at the Governor’s Ball.
Oh yeah, I really really really LOVE this movie poster and I can’t wait till this movie hits the big screen. It’s gonna be awesome!

I’m surprised I hav’nt run into this site before. This poster is awesome! I’ve seen it before but it’s been a while. If we had it we would definitely frame it in a snap.
