I don’t know about you guys, but Sleepless in Seattle is one of my favorite Tom Hanks movies. And for some reason, I remember seeing the houseboat that Hanks and his son lived in and wanted that thing for myself.
Imagine living in a house that floated on the water with a view of Seattle. Dock a boat to that thing and you are golden.
Well, if you, or I, ever wanted that thing, now is the time. It’s for sale.
It will only cost you $2.5 million and require a $625,000 down payment. Because of the fame surrounding it, the houseboat is selling for almost $260 more a square foot than one selling close by.

What if I bought it and moved it here to Austin and put it on the lake and sold tours? Hmm… Might not be same since it wasn’t Sleepless In Austin…
If you spent $2.5 million and the cost to move that to austin to conduct tours that would never come, then you would be sleepless in Austin…
And THEN they could make the movie…
and THEN you could review it!!
Actually, that sounds like it could make a pretty cool documentary…
