That cover art is really sweet. Dark City was a really good movie. Keifer Sutherland actually did some pretty good acting in it.

I’ll even up that one… I’ve never seen Lost boys either…

You haven’t seen Lost Boys? Dude – shake yourself…quit posting and get to watching.

Have you seen Truth or Consequences, NM with Kiefer? That is a pretty good movie.

I love this movie and am glad they are doing this cut of it. Blu-ray – mighty tempting to pick this up and replace the DVD version I have.

As impressive a list I have of movies I’ve seen, I have an equally impressive list of movies I’ve never seen… not seen truth or consequences either, never even heard of that one…

That is one of his many independents that he has done. He stays really busy with indy movies.

Dark City was really ahead of it’s time. When the Matrix came out, I remembered Dark City and some of the imagery is similar. The audience just wasn’t ready for that sort of thing yet, but I think it paved the way for other Sci Fi’s to take on those kind of mind twisting ideas. I think that was why the box office wasn’t as large and not very many people saw Dark City when it came out. I really liked it though and went to the theater 3 times to see it in college. If you haven’t seen it, it is worth viewing. If you like the Matrix you will probably like this movie too.

Wow, see I don’t ever even remember it in theaters, but that doesn’t mean much.

I’m going to need to see it again, it’s been awhile.

I saw it in theaters too and a couple of times on video. I too thought about it a lot when The Matrix first came out. Even the stories are similar.
