“Jericho” fans have a little something to be happy about today. Esai Morales has joined the cast of the Sci Fi Channel’s two-hour pilot for the “Battlestar Galactica” spin-off prequel, “Caprica.” In “Caprica” Morales will play Joseph Adama, the father of William Adama (played in BSG by Edward James Olmos), who one day will take command of the Battlestar Galactica.
Joseph Adama is described as a deeply passionate man with a strong sense of justice – and someone you wouldn’t want as your enemy.
I think Esai Morales was perfectly cast in this role. Not only is it easy to see him as William Adama’s father, but he’s a good actor who should be a great anchor for the new show.
Paula Malcomson was previously cast as a surgeon who works as a double agent. Malcomson played Colleen Pickett in a couple of episodes of “Lost.” Colleen Picket was an “Other” who was shot and killed by Sun on the sailboat.
Awesome news! Loving this casting decision…
Like you said, he friggin’ looks like he could be Bill’s father, so that is perfect.
But he’s a good actor, so this will be great.
Yet another Fall show I’m psyched about.
“RICHIE!!!”
I don’t get it.
Me either.
