Wow, seeing a Lincoln film from Spielberg would be awesome…he does such a good job with those things.

“Steven Spielberg has said that he’s finally ready to get his Lincoln up and running” – that’s what she said.

You are on a roll today

Awesome – I love biopics and Spielberg does them extremely well.

Maybe Spielberg can get Aaron Sorkin involved in the Lincoln project… Sorkin does political dialog like nobody else. I really enjoy his rapid-fire bantering style.

Makes me think a little bit of Tarintino’s sharp-witted dialog – I’m not crazy about QT’s movies, but I’ve always admired the dialog his characters have.

    @Jina – LOL

@Rob – Can you imagine a movie about Lincoln with Tarintino’s dialog? Man, that would be some kind of crazy. lol

  7. The Trousered Ape

@ Jason – now that would be a riot. What is funny is that after my wife and I saw the new Indy trailer at Iron Man I told her I thought that pairing up Spielberg with Tarantino in a movie would be genius – but crazy is probably a better way to describe it.

I can’t imagine a Tarantino version of Lincoln without Samuel Jackson/Jules. “Say ‘what’ on more time Booth!” lol

No, it’d be this: “Say you support slavery one more time! I wanna hear you say it!

The bigger question is would Abe throw Booth off a balcony onto a greenhouse roof for giving Mary Todd a foot massage? I guessing he would, Abe was a Badass! Maybe that’s why Booth shot him hmmmmm. ;-)

@ Scotty – now that sounds like an interesting BA bracket – Presidential Bad Asses…Who would win in a scrap between Abe Lincoln and Ronald Reagan? I would put my money on “Honest” Abe!

@Ape – I don’t know Ronnie backed the Soviets down. He’s def the biggest BA president of the last century or at least up there with Teddy R.

@Ape watch the Music video of Two Tribes (Frankie Goes to Hollywood), Regan was an Arse kicker!!!

  16. The Trousered Ape

Hey – I’m as big a Reagan fan as there is, but seriously – he was old and slow. Abe is thin and wiry – I would bet anything he fights dirty. I just envision a little Fight Club action going down.

And one other thing – who knows what Abe has hidden in that hat of his.

It’s also a historical fact that Lincoln had a high pitched voice…just thought I’d add that for visual effect.

  18. The Trousered Ape

I hope you mean audio effect because I can’t see sound waves. :)
