The two-hour 24 prequel has added three new cast members. Eric Lively, Tony Todd and Gil Bellows have all joined the cast according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The TV movie is designed to bridge the gap between last season and the upcoming seventh season which will premiere in January. The prequel will feature Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) battling an international crisis in Africa while the U.S. ushers in a new president on Inauguration Day.
Eric Lively, brother of “Gossip Girl” star Blake Lively and “L Word” alum, will play the president’s son.
Gil Bellows, perhaps best known for his role on Fox’s “Ally McBeal,” will play a State Department officer ordered to serve Bauer with a subpoena to appear before the Senate.
Tony Todd will play a cruel African dictator named Gen. Juma. Todd will appear during Season 7.
I hope Jack doesnt logon here and see the results of how he fared in the Ultimate BA tourney….
ROTFL! We’re all dead if he does!
Not all of us. Speak for yourselves. My allegiance to Jack has been well documented!
When will this be on again?
@ Jason: Mine too!
Jina, I think it’s set for Nov 23.
And the movie? 24 is such extremes of good and bad. Jack/keifer is same. Pretty darn good actor, but isn’t he a bit old to be playing someone that is superior to superman?
