So they’ve released yet another movie poster for M. Night Shyamalan’s summer film, The Happening starring Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel, John Leguizamo, Betty Buckley, Spencer Breslin, and Ashlyn Sanchez.
This poster is the third one so far and probably my least favorite. I’m not exactly sure what they were going for, but it mostly just makes me feel queasy. I think the first two posters are much more effective. What do you think?
The Happening opens in the US on Friday, June 13, 2008.
So I want to say, just so its documented, my guess here on what the appening is. Its the bee’s. You know how they have all been disappearing, i think they disappear, and come back and attack man, for whatever reasons, and its why people die, to offset mother nature or whatever… but The Cap’n is saying it now, it all about the bee’s…you heard it here first…

I hate bees
I like the poster. It’s showing how the world is going crazy around them.
Maybe its like the Snow Patrol video for Chocolate….except with bees.

I think I prefer the poster with the rows of abandoned cars over this one.
Bees, huh? Well, I’d better lock myself in my house if that’s the case. I just had a swarm of bees removed (i.e. exterminated) from my tree a couple weeks ago. Does that make me a target?
