Spelling bee kid hears the word Numnah wrong

This is pretty hilarious, you might have seen it already, but if not, you should take a look.

The 2008 National Spelling Bee just took place, and the winner was the kid in the video below, Sameer Mishra. But before he got to the end, he received a word that threw him off a bit:

Numnah

If you say it quick or just don’t “pronounce” every syllable, it could come out wrong.

Which is exactly what happened to Sameer.

    He should have played it for more laughs and gone ahead and spelled “numbnuts.” That would have shown them.
