I really don’t get into these spoof films too much, even though I have totally laughed at any I’ve seen. But there have been so many lately that really haven’t gotten even SLIGHTLY good buzz, that I’ve ignored them completely.
I’ll likely still ignore this new one as well, but the poster is hilarious. It’s called Disaster Movie, and well, you can guess what it’s about. It’s from the same people who gave us Meet the Spartans, Date Movie and Epic Movie.
The image of the Statue of Liberty with a snorkel comes from the movie Day After Tomorrow from a few years ago, but it’s really the tagline joke that ties it all together.
