I’ll never stop pimping Flight of the Conchords, be it the TV show or just their music in general, so I had to pass on this little video from some college guys.
On their graduation night, The Carleton Singing Knights of Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, performed their own a cappella version of the Conchords song, Sello Tape.
It’s friggin’ hilarious and they do an amazing job. Watch it below, and if you are interested in the original version from Bret and Jemaine from episode 4 of season 1, you can check that out after.
The audience reactions makes it obvious that it was a major hit.
Bret and Jemaine:
A really funny, and strangely catchy, song. Although I think I enjoyed the scene from “Flight of the Conchords” more than the live performance because of the funny dialog.
The girlfriend telling him he could rejoin the band…gold.
The FOTC are brilliant and so was that a cappella rendition. Man that was funny.
I just cant get into this show for some reason, i've given it two shots, it is just ok…
i love how Mel shows up in the end of this song. hilarious!
I'd love to see a Flight of the Conchords Broadyway musical.
Haha, that would be great man!
Also, welcome to the site if no one's said it…
Man that was funny.
