The Cap'n says: Megatron (AKA Mr. MBE1), Darth Vader, Hans Gruber, Hannibal Lecter, Bryan Singer (cause alot of you think Superman returns was crap), Norman Bates, Alex Forrest (Fatal Attraction, Glenn Close), Michael Corleone (The Godfather), HAL 9000, The Alien (from Alien), Freddy Krueger, The Joker (wait till the dark to know what I mean), Lex luthor…

  2. Cap'n Schwartz

    19. Jigsaw (Saw)

  4. The Trousered Ape

Nice list – looks like we hit on some of the same ones – HAL is definitely scary.

  5. Mike Olbinski

You get a point for Bryan Singer :)

  6. Mike Olbinski

Funny, I thought of HAL as well…nice.

  7. Mike Olbinski

Love the pick of Jigsaw…and Keyzer Soze…woo!

  8. The Trousered Ape

Keyzer is one of my favorite bad guys. :)

And I was going to put the monkey from Donkey Kong – but I don't know what his name is…

  9. Dadofiandi

I want to nominate Kevin Spacey in his role in “Swimming with Sharks” , although Frank Whaley does tie him up.

The guy from No Country for Old Men
    The Monarch
    mr.Glass
    the Thing (from The Thing)

  10. nicky

I will of course nominate Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) from American Psycho.

  11. Cap'n Schwartz

Ape I'm not sure how I could have missed Saurman, GREAT CATCH MAN!!! oooohhh and #17 Mr. blonde another great one =) but Hans Greuber has to be the smartest bad dude out there… nice lists so far

  12. Cap'n Schwartz

Nicky GREAT PICK!!! I never saw that movie until very recently, cant believe i didnt think of that one! Definitely should be on the list… noone can do chainsaw art like PB!!

  14. Mike Olbinski

    Nice Nicky!

  15. The Trousered Ape

The guy from No Country for Old Men is Anton Chigurh and he was extremely eeeeevil. Nice addition!

  16. The Trousered Ape

    Thanks – I try…

  17. The Trousered Ape

Yeah – he was nuts – totally forgot about him.

  18. The Trousered Ape

    Ugh – how could I forget…

The Six-Fingered Man (The Princess Bride)

  19. Mike Olbinski

Agreed, Anton is a great choice.

  20. R.A. Porter

Whaley is *way* more evil in that movie. Poor Michelle Forbes.

  21. R.A. Porter

Lex is obvious, but just in case, I and my avatar want to make sure no one ever forgets that magnificent bastard.

    1. Billy Mumy's character, Anthony Fremont, from the classic Twilight Zone episode “It's a Good Life”. Gives me creeps just thinking about him sending people into the cornfield.
    2. Jason Voorhees. As unstoppable and indestructible a force as John McClane is for good, Jason is for evil.
    3. Same with Michael Myers.
    4. Arjen Rudd, the South African baddie from Lethal Weapon 2: “Diplomatic Immunity!”
    5. Gilligan. Watch it again.
    6. Arvin Sloane.
    7. J.R. Ewing
    8. The Ice Truck Killer
    9. Mitch Leary – John Malkovich's character from In the Line of Fire
    10. Antoine Mitchell from The Shield
    11. Depending on your point of view, Vic Mackey

  22. The Kid and I

    Who's HAL?

  23. The Trousered Ape

    It's the spaceship in 2001: A Space Odyessy – extremely evil…

  24. The Kid and I

The Kevin Spacey character from Se7en. I don't remember his name.
The evil queen on Snow White.
Annie Wilkes, the Kathy Bates character from Misery.
Q, from Star Trek Generations….I know, I know. The nerd is showing in me. :)
    Leatherface
The Parents from The People Under the Stairs

  25. The Kid and I

    Ah.

  26. The Trousered Ape

Is Spike Lee considered evil for bagging on Clint Eastwood?

  27. Dadofiandi

Boy you sure have it for Michelle Forbes.

  28. Mike Olbinski

    Arvin Sloane…nice one.

  29. Mike Olbinski

WOW Ana, I was just coming on here to bring up Q because I was checking out an episode of TNG on Sci Fi just now :)

  30. The Trousered Ape

I'm going to disagree with the Ice Truck Killer because I thought Lila was far more dangerous than he was.

  31. Mike Olbinski

Dang, can't believe I just thought of this guy:

The Cigarette Smoking Man from X-Files.

  32. The Trousered Ape

I'm guessing lung cancer is kicking his butt right now…

  33. Mike Olbinski

I don't even think I know who the Ice Truck Killer is??

  34. Mike Olbinski

    He'd still own you

  35. The Trousered Ape

    That's probably because you haven't watched Dexter…

  36. The Trousered Ape

Good thing I'm not fighting him then. :)

  37. The Trousered Ape

You thought HAL was nice? LOL

That's a computer gone insane – just nuts.

  38. The Trousered Ape

And another one – Mike from Session 9 – that dude was baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

  39. Dadofiandi

Bill the Butcher from Gangs of New York
    Cancer Man from the X-files
    The Clown from IT
For my wife – Sylar from Heroes
Vernon Schillinger from OZ (J.K. Simmons)
    Yul Brenner in Westworld
    Ras Al Guhl
    Banya from Seinfeld

  40. Dadofiandi

ugh spent too much time thinking of bad guys and you beat me to the punch

  41. R.A. Porter

Mmmmm. Miranda Zero. Admiral Cain. The love of my life!
    :)

  42. Dadofiandi

I think Kevin Spacey shoud get some kind of bad guy award, he was even creepy in American Beauty but maybe not evil.

  43. R.A. Porter

    Banya! That's gold Dad, gold!

  44. The Trousered Ape

Oooh – Yul from Westworld – nice pick!

  45. Electronic Control

wheres the chart of all this so i can study it up? o_O
    -Jerry

  46. Mike Olbinski

    ROTFL @ Banya!

  47. Cap'n Schwartz

    What about Gaius Baltar?

  48. Jason A Clark

William 'Bill' Munny (Clint Eastwood's character) from Unforgiven or
Little Bill Daggett (Gene Hackman's character) from Unforgiven

  49. Mike Olbinski

I really need to watch this movie again, I only saw it once.

  50. Jason A Clark

    Sometimes you make me sad.

  51. Mike Olbinski

I have that affect on people

  52. Mike Olbinski

Actually, I remember when I first saw it that it seemed very boring to me and I couldn't believe it won an Oscar for Best Picture.

But I think I was young and just didn't appreciate it. Definitely need to rent it.

  53. The Trousered Ape

Yes – you must watch it again. I hated Westerns and some friends of mine literally dragged me to the theater to watch this movie and I'm glad they did. It was a well-done film and Clint was terrific in it. I loved it – I might even own it, I'm not sure…

  54. Mike Olbinski

Did you ever see Silverado? That's pretty much my favorite Western…

  55. The Trousered Ape

No – I have never been a Western movie fan. I haven't watched any John Wayne movies or Clint Eastwood Westerns except for The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly and Unforgiven.

Blazing Saddles is more my speed.

  56. Jason A Clark

Great, great, great movie. I'm sure you would feel differently about it now.

  57. Mike Olbinski

Gaius maybe…not a bad pick. Always good to have someone from BSG on it, although maybe Caprica Six would be better.

  58. Scott B.

Dick Cheney. He beats them all.

  59. Mike Olbinski

    Nice :)

You get a point, welcome to the site :)

  60. Jason A Clark

    Silverado is definitely good.

  61. JP Anda

Good call on Salieri from Amadeus waaay up by the top. He totally owned Mozart in the best way (too bad God kinda ended up owning him).
William Munny from Unforgiven also a good choice.
    Emperor Ming from Flash Gordon
Jean Baptiste Emanuele Zorg from The Fifth Element
    The Alien from Alien
    Bill Lumberg from Office Space

  62. Mike Olbinski

Okay, Bill Lumberg is awesome :)

Also, what about The Soup Nazi on Seinfeld? :)

  63. Mike

Angel Eyes (The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly)
Anton Chigurh (No Country for Old Men)

  64. Mike Olbinski

    “Where's the dog?”

  65. JP Anda

LOL good choice, really had to dig deep to remember that one :)

Also, im surprised no ones said Khan (KHAAAAAAAAAAAAN!)

  66. The Trousered Ape

Soup Nazi wasn't evil – but real Nazi's are.

  67. Mike Olbinski

    Khan…is…awesome.

Love it! Someone give JP a point, I can't :(

  68. The Trousered Ape

Yeah – God took him down a few notches…

  69. JP Anda

    Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias from Watchmen

  70. Dadofiandi

    Spoiler alert

  71. Mike Olbinski

The graphic novel is 23 years old :)

  72. Clarknk

    The predator

  73. Mike Olbinski

We'll get a chart up in a few days

  74. Cap'n Schwartz

He was the misunderstood 4th Stooge so he got fired, but went postal on the other stooges…

  75. Cap'n Schwartz

OMG HOW DID WE EVER FORGET THIS… fine fine choice….cant believe of all people the Capn didnt come up with this…. I blame Jason, some how its his fault I didnt think of it… GREAT CATCH JP Anda!!!!

  76. Jason A Clark

    Yeah, it's probably my fault.

  77. The Kid and I

    LOL!

  78. Jason A Clark

    Uwe Boll

  79. The Trousered Ape

    Is that English…?

  80. DLWhite

Uh… you mean “Simon”, not Mike…

  81. The Trousered Ape

I'm pretty sure it was Mike – but I might be wrong I guess…

  82. DLWhite

Mike is the lawyer / law student guy…

  83. Mike Olbinski

If your wife is telling you you're wrong, you may as well just admit it and get that pain over with

  84. The Trousered Ape

    LOL

  85. The Trousered Ape

I had checked IMDB before posting – maybe I can't recognize faces anymore…

  86. DLWhite

    lol

  87. DLWhite

How about Agent Smith from “the Matrix”?

  88. The Trousered Ape

After further review (and some IM chatting) I have come to the conclusion that I am mistaken…

  89. DLWhite

It’s kinda hard to discuss the villain in this movie… since I know some people disagree on who exactly it is… It’s also hard to discuss it here in the open forum without ruining the movie for people who haven’t seen it yet.

  90. Dadofiandi

I thought it was Uwe Blab the former German Center for the Indiana Hoosiers

  91. Cap'n Schwartz

how do we give points, cause Jason needs 3 for that one, LOL

  92. Cap'n Schwartz

Agent Smith another great one, man we have a better bad guy list than good guy list….

  93. Cap'n Schwartz

I feel ya bro… once, I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken.

  94. The Trousered Ape

    Ha

  95. Mike Olbinski

Yeah, Agent Smith is great, and Cap'n is right

  96. Jason A Clark

Sorry Ape. Is this better? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uwe_Boll

  97. The Trousered Ape

Interesting…looks like he made a movie from one of my favorite video games: Dungeon Siege. I've never heard of him before.

  98. Daniel Ha

Oh man, I have so many favorite “villains” in movies. I gotta think about this before I throw out a predictable answer.

  99. The Trousered Ape

    Tru dat…double tru.

  100. beatles367

yeah dude seriously… fuckin bill from kill bill should win this shit.

  101. Mike Olbinski

While Bill is a good choice, how could he win anything? He never even did ANYTHING in the movie really but get his butt kicked at the end :)

  102. The Trousered Ape

He did shoot the Bride in the head without hesitation…that's pretty cold blooded.

  103. Alina

My favorite picks mentioned above are Anton Chigurh, Hannibal Lecter, Agent Smith, Patrick Bateman and predictably, Darth Vader.

I would add Jesus, from the Big Lebowski (8 year olds, dude!), Scorpio from Dirty Harry and Jean Baptiste Grenouille (The perfume).

  104. Mike Olbinski

Well, I guess that's true, but anyone can shoot someone in the head :)

  105. Mike Olbinski

I still haven't seen the Big Lebowski yet, I suck :(

  106. Mike Olbinski

I still haven't seen the Big Lebowski yet, I suck :(

  107. The Trousered Ape

You haven't seen the Big Lebowski? That is a classic man – a classic. Get thyself to hulu and watch it NOW.

  108. The Trousered Ape

You haven't seen the Big Lebowski? That is a classic man – a classic. Get thyself to hulu and watch it NOW.

  109. Mike Olbinski

I could never watch a movie on Hulu…ugh.

    I'll rent it soon.

    I'll rent it soon.

  111. Cap'n Schwartz

G4 shows this movie like every Saturday (its the only movie they own the rights to I think)

  117. The Trousered Ape

Warning – the first time I saw it, I thought it was mildly funny. But the more I have watched it, the more I appreciate the subtleness of it all – it's truly a riot of a film. It has a high re-viewing factor to it I think.

    LOL..its EXACTLY that

  122. Cap'n Schwartz

    LOL..its EXACTLY that

  123. Jason A Clark

Hmmm…I think almost anyone would say The Big Lebowski is funnier than Clerks. I could be mistaken, but if they said differently, they'd be wrong.
