A second full version of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars trailer has hit the web, and it’s pretty cool looking. Jason posted the first one back in May, and I have to agree with him: There is something about the music that always gets me pumped up, even if what I’m watching doesn’t look that amazing.
In watching this trailer last night, the first thought that came to my head was what if George Lucas had just done the new Star Wars movies as animated features, instead of the live action crap he gave us?
Yeah, I liked the last one alright, it was nice and dark, and showed us how Anakin became Darth Vader, but the other two were so disappointing.
If they had been animated instead…I wonder if they would have been better?
Anyways, here is the trailer:

Oh my… this one looks coolsies… too bad they couldnt get the original actors to do the voices….
There's something just inherently cool about Star Wars when the music starts playing and you hear the lightsabers…no matter what you think about the animation.
Yup…and the animation here is pretty cool…I really believe the new films might have been better had they gone this route instead
You would have liked them better if you did better in StarWars trivia games…
The animation here is definitely really cool. Star Wars trivia games are awesome and so addicting.
Well I was primarily ribbing Mike about his poor showing in a Scene-it DVD game version of Starwars, but he didnt catch on or did and didnt comment… but I agree with you Chantix that this animation looks awesome =)
I've tried hard to forget that day, but you wont let me…
By the way…while you make fun of me, I'm sitting here about to watch
The Incredible Hulk…what are you doing?
Sorry, I wont ever mention it again…. much. that and the queen ranking, never again…..till at least 2 more weeks…
I am browising your website posting, thinking of humourous things to say like Ape and Jason always do, but coming up short, well because I'm short.. and reading that Tim Russert from meet the press and MSNBC collapsed and died while at work… enjoy the movie…
Man, Cap'n, you really know how to bring a party down.
Sad news.
LOL!
For clarity, I was typing those comments just as that news broke, and why I interrupted myself with that news, no disrespect or trying to be funny intended, so I was trying to pass it along since Mo was checking his up to the min info….
