Anytime we get news about It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, it’s necessary to pass it on to our loyal readers. If you haven’t ever watched the show, you are soooo missing out on one of the best comedies on television.
It’s ruthless, politically incorrect and hilarious.
Well, we have some season 4 details, which is supposed to return to FX on September 18th, and they are pretty awesome.
Fancast did an exclusive interview with the cast and crew of the show, including Fred Savage (Wonder Years) who is once again directing some episodes this season.
What do we have to look forward to? Glenn Howerton, who plays Dennis on the show, had this to say:
“There are a lot of surprises this season, and a lot of crazy s**t happens.”
Sounds like it will be just like all the other seasons. Here are some of the highlights of the article:
- Charlie will be seen once again in the day-glo bodysuit from The Gang Gets Invincible.
- The gang will take advantage of people whose homes are foreclosing on them
- The gang decides that to make their own dreams come true, they have to makeover the life of a family in need. They are calling it the Extreme Home Makeover episode. OMG!
- In order to help make more money for the bar, the gang explains to the Historical Society the importance that Paddy’s played in the Revolutionary War – which then shows the gang in flashbacks as their “ancestors.”
- Sinbad will make a guest appearance this season as an “unruly patient.”
- More stuff over on Fancast.
Sounds good to me. The gang doing an Extreme Home Makeover for someone can only result in utter disaster.
If you haven’t seen the show at all, Fancast has 23 episodes up for your enjoyment.

Last year the show floundered a little bit, so I am hoping for a return to form such as “Dennis and Dee Go on Welfare”. That was a classic!

I have to agree, last season was a bit of a downer compared to the first two, but the first one with the party and the phallic-shaped invitation was stinkin' hilarious

I can't wait for the next season to start – the upcoming episode about the Historical Society sounds promising… This show never fails to make me laugh.
