I really have no idea if Wanted will turn out to be good or just completely suck, but everything I’ve seen so far at least points to the fact that it should at least be fun.
This newly released 7-minute clip of the chase scene that we’ve all seen glimpses of is pretty rockin’. The stunts and entire sequence is awesome, and if you can’t get into the mirror gun that Angelina Jolie pulls out of nowhere, then you just don’t like good action gadgets.
Alright, y'all know my complaints about how I think this movie is going to deviate from a great comic…but dayam!!! That was one hell of a scene!
It did suffer from movie-car logic, though. I drive a fast car. It really isn't hard to lose a truck, no matter how badly it wants to keep up with you.
That was pretty cool. I agree, it might not be a good movie – but it will probably be lot's of fun. Just straight up action.

It wouldn't take much to make it more believable…put her in a tricked out pickup, maybe? Then you film it exactly the same way and the same speed. It just wouldn't *look* crazy to me.

I know what what you mean, but we are already dealing with suspended reality in so many other ways by the time the chase scene arrives that it does not really stick out as being odd to me. It doesn't kill the flow of what is happening. Then again, I drive a Ford Focus…

Yeah, I didn't get why the guy was such an awful shot when he had a dead on angle, and then when he had to CURVE them, suddenly he hit the tires…

That's weird. It let us exceed the maximum level of nesting but it cut off the reply at a certain point and it took away the ability to give points. I guess if you carry on a conversation too long it's just not worthy of points.
