After, AFTER you finish Kingdom Come, you should read Alan Moore's proposal for Twilight of the Superheroes.

I heard there was a Batman: The Long Halloween that is supposed to be awesome too?

Richard and I can make you a list and come up with the top 10 ones if you want…(RA dont you like how I coordinate you in on this…)?

Batman Hush is excellent, but it takes place much later in the Batman timeline. Staying with Year One and Batman Begins motif, I'd definitely read Long Halloween and then Dark Victory by Jeph Loeb next.

Also coordinate with Puddy, he seems to know what he's talking about :)

Well I know this is an old post but maybe someone is still around. I too am just now getting involved in the comics, (batman only though) I have always been a big batman fan but since batman begins my interest has jumped again. I made a fan site (more as a reference site at first but made it friendly to fans) I started adding the movies, info on them, then the new game and info on each tv episode etc. Trying to make it a site to get any and all info reguarding batman.

I then thought lets do comic books. I started adding and holy **** there is a ton. I knew it was big but my god. I have read just a few and really have no idea where to begin.
