I'm going with The Shawshank Redemption, which, in my opinion, is one of those rare, perfect movies – or as close to perfect as you can get.

I was kinda dismissive of “The Bucket List,” figuring it'd be kinda crummy and full of cheesy “old men doing stupid adrenaline-junkie stuff,” but it was really good.

Nearly every movie that features Morgan Freeman is quite good. Hard to pick the best, but “Driving Miss Daisy” must be towards the top of the list.

Obviously there are far too many to pick a single film that is his “best.” He was tremendous in Glory, Driving Miss Daisy, The Shawshank Redemption, and Million Dollar Baby. I loved him in all of those movies, of course.

I also think he made the perfect President in Deep Impact.

Two of my favorite roles of his, however, are probably in Seven and Unforgiven. Just amazing.

Yeah, good way to put it…”perfect movie”…hard to find anything wrong with it at all.

I need to SEE Unforgiven again, ugh

I know I SAW Miss Daisy, but I don't remember much about it.

Yeah – I loved the movie – think it is pretty much flawless. Everything about it was brilliant.

Morgan was also really good in The Red Violin. I'll also agree with Jason here – he was good in Glory, Seven, and The Unforgiven.

I think that Morgan Freeman is one of the most unappreciated actors in Hollywood. How he didn't get a Oscar for Shawshank I will never understand.

As for my favs, I initially loved him in Lean On Me, which is a great flick (and came out before “the rebellious school teacher/administrator makes a difference in inner-city kids' lives” plot became overused). And Glory is an amazing movie as well. But he stole and sold Shawshank Redemption! By far, my favorite performance of his.

    Batman Begins…

I liked him in the Electric Company
